About the event
Stroke Awareness & Management
This session provides a practical introduction to stroke awareness for carers, including how to recognise possible signs of a stroke, when to seek urgent help, and how stroke may affect a person physically, emotionally, and practically. It also explores how carers can support recovery at home through patience, encouragement, safe routines, communication and appropriate signposting.
