Training & Events Officer – Maternity Cover

Hours:               24 hours which we envisage will be worked flexibly across the week,                                     including occasional cover for out of hours events, depending on the                                     events booked.

Location:          Worcester Office (informal hybrid working by agreement)

Salary:               £26,520 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

Type:                  Maternity Cover – 12 months (which may be extended)

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of unpaid carers? We are looking for an organised, creative and motivated Training and Events Officer to join the Worcestershire Carers Hub team.

​

In this rewarding role, you will lead the development, delivery and day-to-day management of a high-quality programme of training and events designed to support unpaid carers across Worcestershire. Working closely with carers, colleagues and key stakeholders, you will ensure our offer remains relevant, accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of those who provide vital care to family members and friends.

Community Mental Health Link Worker

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days, including a Monday

​

Contract Type: Permanent

Pay Scale: £25,972 per annum, pro rata for part time hours

​Make a difference to carers' lives every day. We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Community Mental Health Link Worker to join our professional team supporting unpaid carers across the county.

In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised information, advice and one-to-one support to carers who either care for someone living with a long-term mental health condition or who have their own mental health needs. Using a person-centred and strengths-based approach, you will help carers build resilience, improve their wellbeing, and access the support they need to thrive in their caring role.
