About the event
Walk & Talk at Arrow Valley Lake
Join us for a relaxing and friendly guided Walk & Talk around Arrow Valley Lake, Redditch, offering unpaid carers the opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, gentle exercise, and supportive conversation in beautiful surroundings.
We will meet at The Boathouse Café at Arrow Valley Country Park at 10:00am, before setting off on a leisurely guided walk around the lake. The walk follows the circular route around Arrow Valley Lake, which is approximately 2.3 miles (3.7 km) in length, and is suitable for those looking for a gentle stroll at a comfortable pace. Please note that friendly dogs are welcome too.
The walk will be hosted by representatives from Carers & Communities and accompanied by a Carer Advisor, who will be available throughout the morning for informal 1:1 conversations, support, advice and guidance on any caring-related concerns or queries you may have.
