Stroke Awareness Month

What is Stroke Awareness Month?

Stroke Awareness Month takes place every May to raise awareness of the devastating impact of stroke. It also highlights the importance of providing vital support for stroke survivors and those who care for them. This year, we're asking you to Make May Purple, so we can support more people affected by stroke.

Led by The Stroke Association you can find more information here about their work and what you can do to support Stroke Awareness Month.

We provide a number of services and support for carers of all conditions including carers of those loved ones who have had a stroke. We have extremely experienced advisors who can support carers on their journey to supporting a loved one and provide signposting and information and advice relevant to their caring role.

We also offer a range of events and information sessions for carers. You can find them all on our events calendar.

If you need any support in your caring role, or would just like for us to keep you updated, you can sign up and receive our welcome pack here.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with us via phone or email.
